2005 Big Brother Results

Davina McCall again hosted this the 6th series of Big Brother starting on 27 May 2005 through to 12 August 2005  which was a record 11 weeks and featured another new house which had outside showers and a hidden secret garden which would not be shown until the 5th week.

The first twist was that Makosi who was the unlucky 13th housemate had to get the most nominations to be evicted in order to secure her own safety once she had done this she had to nominate 2 contestants to be in the first public vote.

On day 29 we were shown the secret garden which had 3 more contestants Orlaith, Kinga and Eugene, on Day 30, less than 24 hours after they had entered the Secret Garden, a red button appeared in the main house. Makosi pressed the button and was immediately called to the Diary Room. She entered the Secret Garden, met Kinga, Eugene and Orlaith, and was instructed to help them by stealing food and other supplies from the main house. If she failed to do so or was discovered by her fellow housemates, she would be automatically put up for the public vote. Makosi was successful in her task.

Before completing the task, Makosi had to evict one housemate from the secret garden – she chose Kinga who later returned to the Big Brother house on Day 66 to replace Orlaith who walked a day earlier.  Kinga later caused a public outcry by taking a wine bottle and using it as a sex aid

The winner of the show was Anthony Hutton who narrowly beat Eugene Sully to win the £50,000 prize, since the show he has featured on Sky TV's the match and has done some other minor TV work.
