The charismatic Irish television presenter was chosen to be the face and host of the re-vamped Channel 5 Big Brother. Dowling shot to fame in the the 2001 Big Brother, which he eventually won. Dowling returned to the show in 2010 for the Ultimate Big Brother show which was plugged as the last ever Big Brother. Dowling's popularity was confirmed when he won that show and as a result he was chosen as the host of the new-look show this year.
