Since it started in 2000 the house in its original format has seen well over 100 people enter through it's hallowed doors, some have been forgotten about immediately while others have managed to stay in the public eye and manage to cling on to their fifteen minutes of fame, we will take a look at those that have almost stayed the distance

Craig Philips

The first winner of Big Brother was a 28 year old building company owner from Liverpool before he entered the house, since leaving he has had a number one single and gradually moved in TV presenting falling back on his past trade of building, he has presented Renovation Street on ITV1 with Linda Robson and in 2007 he joined another ITV1 show - 60 Minute Makeover and also runs his own TV productin company.

Kate Lawler

The winner of Big Brother 3 and the first female winner has enjoyed steady work in television & radia, she first became a DJ on Capital FM, auntil December 2003. She is currently co-presenting the Kerrang! Radio breakfast show, The Morning After alongside Tim Shaw.

Jade Goody

Although not a winner Jade has become the most recognisable face from any Big Brother show, she has made 3 best selling fitness DVD's and has also had 3 shows on UK Living, Jade's Salon, Just Jade & Jade's PA. She is believed to gathered a personal fortune in excess of £3 million from her TV ventures and perfume sales.
