Big Brother 2009
LATEST NEWS FROM THE HOUSE
Sophie 1/6 favorite - Looks like Siavash has gone one step too far in his honourable quest and Sophie's simplicity and genuine nature is set to win the day. The very fact that she has no idea of her imminent victory has also won over the public's support !
David to meet his queen - Most likely to leave first tomorrow night, likeable David has secured his dream by receivinga letter from his heroine Vivienne Westwood, sending best wishes and ensuring a meeting with her. Who needs £100,000 !!
Sophie to win - Although it seemed most likely that a male contestant would win this year, Sophie has risen to the top of the table in the winning stakes. The eye candy girl has shown moral fibre, decency, naivety and humour and looks set to pip Siavash to the post.
Lisa goes - As expected Lisa was evicted from the house last night , leaving the way clear for David to be in the final on Friday,. However it is likely that he will be the first to go on the night.
All up for last nomination- Although David and Lisa came out on top in the eviction stakes, Charlie Siavash ans Sophie refused to nominate so they are all up again. Not that it is likely to change the outcome.
Adding Spice to the evictions- By showing the housemates footage of all their previous nominations BB has added a large dollop of resentment and spice to tonight's nomination process !
Marcus evicted - Marcus was the 12th person to be evicted fromm BB. Surely Siavash is now headed for the crown !
Extra Eviction on Tuesday- There will be nominations on Sunday and an eviction on Tuesday, leading up to the final. What will the housemates do this time. Toe the line or rebel ? Fireworks on Sunday guaranteed !
Prize fund slashed ! - As a result of the housemates breaking into the back set of BB, the prize fund has been slashed to zero. This is clearly a desperate attempt to regain control over the house, having been outwitted time and time again this series. Housemates will be offered the chance to restore the fund by various challenges. Marcus was asked to cut off his pony tail for £15,000 , which so far he has refused to do. Not surprising since he is most likely to go on Friday, so would not benefit from his sacrifice. Siavash on the other hand agreed to sacrifice all his clothes and accessories in exchange for a leotard and stilletos which he must wear until the end of the show. Many say that this is the final BB and that seems more likely given falling viewing figures and the ability of the contestants to outwit their controllers.
Siavash and Marcus UP! - An enormous row broke out in the house, when in refusing to nominate and by calculating the risk, Siavash put himself up for nomination. The maths was clever and the concept honourable, but other housemates were outraged that Siavash was able to outwit the BB team. Calls of foul play were rife, but the underlying sentiment that prevailed was that the other housemates were angry that they had not come up with a similar plan. Marcus kept his head down throughout the debacle and it will be up to the public to decide whose actions were the most honourable,,
Nomination Twist-To avoid the housemates rebelling, BB has come up with a clever twist. All those who refuse to nominate will automatically nominate Charlie and Sophie. Clever idea, that must have come from some serious meetings and scratching of heads. Probably the best way to ensure the last week is popuulated with the right contenders. David and Lisa must be most likely, with David the favorite to go. Watch this space.
Everyone wants to go up! - After Bea's eviction this week, discussions are all about the next round of evictions. The general consensus is that all want to go up although this may not work in favour of the tail enders. Whether BB will intervene to avoid the housemates rebellion is yet to be seen. A few interesting production meetings will be taking place !
Bea evicted - The only person in tv land to be surprised by the latest eviction was Bea herself. Who as a psychology student is sure to need a good dose of therapy to understand how she got it so wrong. The biggest number of boos so far!
Is Sophie Pregnant?- Housemates were given a series of glossy gossip magazines in which one of the stories was speculation over Sophie's weight gain. Could she be pregnant with Kris's baby? The introduction of the magazines is sure to add extra tension in the house, competition over column inches and how they are all perceived outside the house will lead to some fireworks. Bea is sure to make her exit more likely on Friday after this.
Rodrigo favorite - 5/2 favorite Rodrigo is now in what seems a two horse race with Siavash at 11/4. The horror task this week may yet throw more dramas to separate the two, but itsreally a question of age over experience. Both have been decent and consistent and both are dealing with embarking on the whole process in a foreign language in a foreign country. This will be very close and the stress of the final days may weigh more heavily on Rodrigo. The only other issue may be that Rodrigo would benefit enormously from a £100,000 prize andthe British viewing public love a happy ending. Siavash should win, but Rodrigo's youth may just edge him out.
Bea, Marcus and David up for Eviction- after a very convoluted nomination process this week with Sophie and Siavash's refusal to nominatestill creating the same outcome as had been anticipated even though BB nominated on their behalf on a completely random basia. Siavash's nominations were for the first two housemates he touched and Sophie's were the first two housemates names she spoke. Both Siavash and Sophie were unaware of the rules by which they were nominating until after the event. Bea must be the one to go!
Rodrigo inches forward - As first week clear favorite it appears that Rodrigo is finally inching back to the top of the winning table, close on Siavash's heels. Most storylines this week are centred on Bea, her arrogange, her manipulation and her complete unlikelihood of winning. The programme is however a game with a prize of £100.000 and Bea's drama is of no consequence to the win market. It seems possible that as a stayer, that if Rodrigo has a sprint finish,he could now take the prize. It will be a close finish this time. Siavash, Rodrigo, Sophie and Charlie must be in the last four.
Bea threatens to walk - It seems that Queen Bea, fresh from her triumph at seeing Freddie evicted has realised that her confidence is empty and senses the other housemates gathering behind her. She is seeing her own weaknesses and is relenting to the BB pot boiler. It looks entirely likely that she will be out on Friday if she doesn't walk before.
Shock Horror Freddie Evicted - What went wrong ? Freddie was evicted over Freddie last night. In the post eviction interview Freddie recognized that he had gone astray in the last couple of weeks, largely in response to Bea entering the house. She looked particularly smug as he was evicted and inevitably Marcus was extemely happy to have ousted the king of evictions. Both he and Bea will be unbearable this week ! Look out for cocky behaviour which may assist at nominations.
Housemates think Freddie will go - As unaware as ever of external perceptions housemates decided last night that Freddie is likliest for eviction. However the bookies all have Marcus as favorite to go, showing the loyal Halfwit following that began in the early weeks has not entirely abandoned him
Rows, Rows,Rows - The BB house is just one Big Burgeoning row machine. Endless disagreements which seem to centre on Bea's need for QueenBee status is having a very negative effect on the mood in the house and is making very tedious viewing. All incumbents are involved and unfortunately the contest on Friday between Marcus and Halfwit will not effect the central cause of this disquiet ! Marcus still looks most likely to go!
Marcus and Freddie Up- After an intense week in the house Freddie and Marcus find themselves in the firing line. The two allies will be uncomfortable facing each other and somehow Bea escaped nomination which could make her even more unbearable this week. See Latest Eviction Odds
Sophie Leads - for the first time Sophie is 2/1 favorite to win BB !!!!! See Latest Betting Odds
Etiquette Task- Maybe through Rodrigos love of the Queen, BB has issued a task to raise the shopping budget by £80.There is a bagpipe challenge and a welsh bog snorkelling competition designed as usual to humiliate and entertain. A horse racing challenge will see viewers of this site intrigued. The housemates are under a lot of pressure after the rows over the past few days to endear viewers and housemates alike with nominations so imminent.
Freddie loses shopping budget - Freddie Siavash and Marcus, were in jail for rule breaking and as a result Freddie "disrespected " BB when they weren't allowed clothing to protect them from the sun! Already being in Jail, BB took the next option which was to retract the luxury shopping budget that had been won last week. Cleverly divisive on BB's part .
Sophie aims for eviction- After a row with Marcus over him stealing some cigarettes, Sophie got so upet that she persistently spoke about nominations. As a recognized rule break, this would normally mean that everyone is up for eviction,ie. last week's debacle with Siavash and Marcus. Watch out for BB's reaction, the production team won't like being played by the housemates !
Hira Evicted - Sweet housemate Hira was evicted last night, leaving Bea and Lisa, the favorites to go with smiles on their faces. Probably the least expected of the evictions so far but the outcome was swayed by the producers asking for viewers to vote for who they wanted to save, rather than who they wanted to evict, the first time in this series that they have done that. Lisa and Bea should count themselves extremely lucky!
Hira Endears, Halfwit gets cocky! - During the mad hatter shopping task this week tempers began to fray and a newly arrogant Marcus and an uncharacteristically cocky Halfwit tore into David and Lisa. Uncomfortable watching, it is already clear that the viewers were not at all impressed and Halfwit, Charlie and Siavash now share joint favorite position for the first time. If Halfwit doesn't regroup quickly the prize will be snatched away from him in the last furlong. In complete contrast Hira was seperate from the group when this argument took place completing a task of her own. Her determination and willingness to spend 5 hours finding a key in a giant cup cake and her disregard for personal vanity was very endearing . Her odds shortened rapidly overnight. This argument may well be the turning point of the whole programme. Siavash is still the one to watch, he is consistent even during adversity.See Latest Odds
Everyone Up - Siavash's plan to take himself out of the game by not nominating has backfired. As a punishment all housemates are up for eviction this week . See Eviction Odds
Marcus in Jail - Last night Marcus was put in jail after tampering with the fixtures and fittings in the house explaining his behaviour as an outlet for his sexual energy after nominations. Marcus is sitting in his most popular position in the house at the moment, but his new found confidence could easily backfire on him. The housemates are getting annoyed with him.
Caterpillar Task - To try and energize the housemates after the drama of the last few days BB has given them another silly task and the opportunity to win some tokens and ease the dismay of failing their shopping task again. 5 housemates dress up as caterpillars , the others as fairies and garden gnomes. Wrapped in cling film and laid on the ground, the caterpillars have 2 minutes to stand up and claim their prize. This should distract them from the Noirin Dramas !
Noirin Evicted, Isaac Walks - As predicted Noirin was evicted after her romantic liasons and as he had promised Isaac walked out of the house shortly after her eviction last night. The repurcussions will rattle around the house for a while, but it has seen Marcus's odds shorten and Siavash is still number 2 favorite behind Freddie.
Isaac unsettles house- Noirin's ex boyfriend hasreally unsettled the housemates. Not only humiliating Siavash but upsetting many of the others, especially Bea, with his aloof arrogant behaviour. Noirin's demise has been strengthened by his presence. Surely he will walk if she is evicted on Friday. See Latest BB Betting Odds
Noirin's Ex moves in ! - Just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons, the ex that Noirin has never stopped talking about has entered as the new house mate. 23 year old Isaac who has been on reality TV before has thrown everyone. Poor Siavash is gutted.!
Tiny Dancer Shopping Task-Using Manilow's, 'Could it be Magic' and Girls Aloud, 'Something Kinda Ooh', as the backdrop, the housemates will form two groups a girlband and a boyband. One person becomes the dancer whose legs and arms are controlled by two other people.A leader has to manage both and also take part in both performances. Could be more lentils this week !!
Marcus and Noirin up - After all the drama of the Siavash kiss, Noirin and Marcus are up for eviction this week and the bookies have this as the closest contest so far. See BB10 Eviction Odds
All Quiet on the BB Front - Noirin and Siavash's kiss has cast a long shadow on the house. Marcus is sulking on his own , Tom has left, and the mood is heavy and down. The producers will have to find a task to rejoin the disjointed Housemates and improve the viewing for the public. Nominations this week should be interesting !
Tom Walks- After only one week the buff Tom, unaware of the complication he is adding to Noirin's romantic tangle walked off the show through the diary room. Felt he was bored and not in need of fame and fortune like the others.
Noirin and Siavash kiss - As a result of kiss under the covers betweenNoirin and Siavash and the acknowledgement of a mutual attraction, the house is about to explode. If Marcus tales the news nobly, the two characters are sure to drop in popularity. If however, he becomes petulant they will be saved from any attack. The Latest Betting Odds are sure to be effected by this situation, it could be a turning point in the whole show and the reactions of all the housemates will be watched very carefully.
No Eviction this week - As a result of Kenneth leaving , BB has told the housemates that there will be no eviction this week. They have however gone to some lengths to emphasize that this does not mean if someone leaves in the future there will automatically be no eviction.
Shopping Task Failed - Although Halfwit tried very hard to indicate the need to win the various tasks, awhich in itself would have led to him failing, none of his predictions for the competitions went as planned. It'sbudget food this week which will lead to tension.
Greek Task a Smokescreen - The tasks completed so far this week will have no impact on the eventual reward. The kebab challenge, the changing guard ceremony and the Stavros Flatley challenges mean nothing. Freddies secret challenge will determine all. He has to choose housemates to compete against each other in areas of strength,weight-lifting and wealth. If he correctly selects the winners of each competition he will secure the luxury shopping budget.
Kenneth Escapes- With advice from Marcus as to his best route, Kenneth escaped over the roof last night as the others slept. What implication this will have on this weeks eviction is not clear as yet. Kenneth had been favorite to go this Friday never settling into the world of BB10.See Eviction Odds
Greek Shopping Task- Lisa , Sophie and David take care of a kebab van for 24hrs,delivering as and when BB demands within 4 minutes of their order. Hira, Siavash and Noirin have to perform a traditional changing of the guards ceremony. Dressed as Aphrodite, goddess of love Bea has to record a dating video.Freddie,Tom, Kenneth and Marcus are all various Greek gods whose challenge has yet to be revealed. As usual they are competing for a luxury shopping budget.
11 Housemates up for eviction- Only Rodrigo and Lisa avoid possible eviction this week. The 5 new housemates failed their task and so are up for nomination and all but Lisa and Rodrigo refused to nominate this week ! See Nomination Odds
Will new Housemates succeed? - On their first night the new housemates were issued with a challenge. If they could cause Halfwit and Noirin to be up for nomination this week they would earn immunity. If they fail all of the new Housemates would be up on Friday. It seems unlikely they will succeed and of the new five Kenneth is probably vulnerable at the moment. See Latest Big Brother Betting Odds
New Housemates shake up house - Tom has made his attraction to Noirin clear, paving the way for tension with Marcus although he says he has no wish to 'tread on anyone's toes' and Halfwit is making a play for Bea, which is making her feel a little uncomfortable. New dynamics will unsettle behaviours in the house, watch the odds change. See Latest Big Brother Betting Odds
5 new Housemates -Bea,David, Hira,Kenneth and Tom all entered the house last night to spice things up. See Big Brother 2009 Housemates. It would be very unusual for latecomers to really make any impact on the betting or outcome of the show , but it will make the originals work harder which will be good for the viewer.
Karly Goes - As anticipated Karly was evicted from the house last night. Her eviction made more sour than normal as her boyfriend Kenneth arrived as one of the new housemates! A brief reconciliation and then a frantic farewell.
Five new Housemates- Tonight the programme will be shaken up by the introduction of 5 new contestants. This may see the original cast consolidating against the newcomers as egos are threatened. Analysis of them will be on this site as soon as they are introduced. SeeBig Brother Betting Tips
Housemates Revolt- As a protest against the lack of food and alchol and cigarettes in the House several housemates climbed onto the roof but at Big Brother's insistence had to come down or risk eviction. The now confident Freddie and Marcus proceeded to throw things into the swimming pool ,including the bath. Whilst expending excess energy no concessions were made . Nothing occured to change the outcome of this weeks eviction. See Eviction Odds.
Old Housemates shake up BB9 - the presence of the old housemates has shaken the present incumbents. Halfwit meeting Craig Phillips who was also nominated most in the house and then went on to win, has thrown the others and imbibed Halfwit with a little too much confidence which may be his undoing. Rodrigo was seen as petulant when not able to meet any old housemates, which was unappealing, and a realisation of a world going on outside the house has injected a lot of anxiety. Keep an eye on the latest odds with Paddy Power.
Craig replaces Nick - With the withdrawal of Nick Bateman Craig Phillips , winner of BB1 will step in to re- run the assault course task from the first series
Karly favorite to leave - Bookmakers Paddy Power have Karly as 1/10 favorite to gowhich will probably be as much of a surprise to the house as Kris leaving
Karly, Noirin, Sophie and Siavash up for Eviction - Karly's fiery temperament sees her favorite for eviction on Friday. Noirin may be vulnerable with her constant use of her sexual wiles but Sophie and Siavash ahould be there for another week. Check out the Free bets with Paddy Power
Siavash and Dog face face eviction - As a punishment for talking about nominations, Dog face and Siavash were faced with the task of not swearing. After two hours Dog face crumbled and in a show of solidarity Siavash then swore and joined her. Both will face the public vote along with whoever else is nominated by the other housemates. Both should be quite safe with the public which will engender a certain amount of confidence in them. See Latest Odds
Nasty Nick moves in on Monday - Nick from series one of Big Brother will re enter the house on Monday to recreate and take part in the assault course that he made famous in the first programme.
Nominations a day early - With all the furore surrounding this weeks tenth birthday celebrations the nominations will take place on Monday instead of Tuesday Don't forget Paddy Power Free Bets
Kris Evicted- As predicted, Kris's arrogance sealed his fate and he was evicted from the house last night The other housemates seemed more shocked than on any other occassion and there are many who will now feel insecure.
New Housemates - Next week a number of new housemates will join the show. A perfect way of unsettling the bonds that have been built and the strategies that have been employed for winning. Expect some fireworks from the house as noses get put out of joint.
Visits from old housemates- To mark the tenth birthday of Big Brother , housemates from past shows will visit the house this week to get involved with classic tasks.
Kris to go - Marcus it seems has got away with another week in the house and whilst Halfwit is becoming a little arrogant now, Insipid Kris is Paddy Power's favorite to go. Noirin's popularity is on the slide so the position of Top Female With Paddy Power
Siavash and Noirin row - Noirin objected to a reported conversation by Siavash that she was a 'bunny' jumping from one group in the house to another. Noirin already under pressure in the house for her behaviour towards Sree and Marcus seems cornered and awkward at the moment. The argument lasted over two hours and is certain to affect Noirin's popularity. Siavash is about to be attacked by other housemates probably because his position is clearly becoming stronger. In the same way as Halfwit has been attacked by the others too.
5 up for eviction- Marcus and Halfwit gained the most nominations , bur Charlie was also put up for talking and Sophie and Kris are up for discussing nominations. The viewers have a real chance to shake up the house !!
Charlie up for eviction- As a punishment for arguing with Rodrigo Big Brother challenged Charlie to be silent until midnight otherwise he would be up for eviction. He spoke and hence is up on Friday. Seems like a ploy to shake up the Halfwit situation by the production team. Siavash will move further forward!!!
Charlie and Rodrigo- What is going on with these two top housemates? Both chaps have been in tearsw over their constant bickering and both are entirely confused as to why this is happening. Neither dislike each other and neither seem to enjoy their confrontation. Maybe this is a sexual tension that is being distorted by the house. Whatever it is whilst giving them more air time at the moment may lead to disapproval in the house and may find them in danger in the nominations. As leaders on the winning board this would be a real shock and Siavash's continued popularity will be furthered by this .
Sree Evicted - As predicted Sree was evicted and Freddie remains king of the house but Siavash is definetly the one to watch. Fair and yet entertaining he is looking like a winner.
Freddie challenges housemates - Freddie finally took on the housemates about their issues with him. Unfortunately because they are unable to follow an argument or listen to his responses, all fell into a shouting match. Freddie will never be able to explain himself to the likes of Lisa because she simply does not have the ability to discuss rationally. Her frustration at herself becomes her frustration with Freddie. Siavash continues to be the voice of sense calm and reason. He could win this!!
Sree favorit for eviction- regardless of the fact that Halfwit is up for his fourth eviction Sree is still1/29 favorite to go whilst Freddie's odds are 10/1. It seems unlikely that with this sort of disparity that Sree will be in the house after Friday. I am sure he will enjoy his week of fame on Big brother's little brother.
Noirin and Marcus pass task - As part of the Italian shopping task Noirin and Marcus had to paint a picture which would be judged alongside an 6 year old child by an independent judge. Marcus the earnest who has to win everything whether or not it is of value came top. His self delusion is sure to grow !
24 hr Ice Cream Task - The housemates have a 24 hr Italian themed shopping task this week but Sophie and Sree taking ice cream orders through the night did not get them off to best start. Toppings were confused the blame lying at poor old Sree 's door. Though why Sophie did not take the orders when english is her first language seems key !
Sree and Freddie up for nomination- Fourth time up for Freddie can he stay in? Yes he can. Sree's days have been numbered now for a while and has been too irritating to too many for too long.
Siavash gains popularity - Siavash is gaining popularity in the house and with the bookies., having lost his sidekick in Cairon he sounds like the voice of reason but accessible to all unlike Freddie. One to consider for final three. See Latest Big Brother Betting Odds.
Despite being up for eviction - for a third time Freddie is still favorite with the Bookies. Siavash is gaining popularity as is Karly and Lisa, Marcus and Sree appear vulnerable for eviction this week as predicted last week before immunity changed the voting expectations. See Latest Big Brother Betting Odds
Lisa shaves Head - Just to add to her feminine guile Lisa shaved all her hair off yesterday, but has reassured her housemates that a bit of mascara and it'll all be fine !!
Angel Evicted- In accordance with all predictions including Day 1 assessments on this site Angel is the third person to be evicted from BB10. Her odd behaviour whilst quite interesting viewing became so uncomfortable to the housemates and viewers eyes that it was inevitable she would go this Friday. Her post eviction interview was similarily bizarre and there was a sense that she would find a holiday of some benefit ! Halfwit survived agaiin but whilst he is likely to get in to the last week there is still big competition from Charlie and Rodrigo in the long term.
Noirin loses it- Last night Noirin lost some popularity points in her argument with Rodrigo. The normally mild mannered Rodrigo becamre very angry with Noirin when she insisted that NAngel should wash up at midnight. Rodrigo argued that Angel had not done her fair share of washing up in three weeks but that to ask her at midnight on what could be her last night was heartless. He came out of it looking reasonable and compassionate, Noirin looked stubborn and arrogant. Since she has had her glasses and tash removed the arrogant Noirin that entered the house seems to be returning. It seems very unlikely that a woman can win this year,Latest Big Brother Betting Odds
Angel's behaviour gets more bizarre - Telling Noirin that she looks three months pregnant, steaing her hairbrush and trying to steal Siavash's photos, Angel is either trying to secure her public ousting on Friday or has allowed the pressure of the house to get to her. Viewing her at the moment is uncomfortabe, she appears to be losing her grip on any socia interaction. Halfwit ooks pretty safe again. Marcus has now decided that he is so secure in the house that he can chaenge Noirin on any of her behaviour's. His smugness is about to explode amongst the housemates. He wil have trouble not being nominated next week. Sree on the other hand, who had become more vunerabe, has now resumed role as house pet and has been re- integrated with a hair dying venture by Charie and Kris.
House full of "wolves", "shepherds" and "sheep" - on trying to understand the politics of the house Freddie has devised these three categories. His philosophy infers that if he can bring down the wolves, of which he has only identified Kris, the shepherds in the house will nuture the sheep to follow in whichever way they prefer.
Live nominations- Last night saw Freddie nominated for the third time for eviction. The outcome was a surprise but rather skewed by the fact that Marcus had earnt immunity and Charlie was unable to vote at all. Still as bookies favorite to win the show and pulling away from Rodrigo Freddie will be more feared in the house if he survives again this week. Angel's 'strangeness' has developed from watchable to awkward viewing and it seems most unlikely that her sexual confessions or displays of nudity will be enough. The public I am sure would have liked the chance to oust Marcus and possibly Sree. See Big Brother Eviction Odds
Sree and Macus favorite for eviction- Sree has found himself the subject of a split in the house regarding his behaviour towards Noirin. The public will have the final say on Friday between these two if the bookies odds are anything to go by. Halfwit is still in pole position to win the show whilst Charlie has edged into second place over original favorite Rodrigo. By comparison Kris is now falling down the table and will find it hard to regain general house support which is required to succeed in Big Brother. If Marcus does not go this week he must be vulnerable next week. His time in the house is limited. See Betting Odds And don't forget to take advantage of your free bet with our associates Paddy Power
Live Nominations- After the main Big Brother show tonight the housemates will be required to nominate live, giving acceptable reasons for their choice and time limited. The subsequent nominees for eviction will then be relayed to the house.
Sree and Noirin Row- The tension between Noirin and Sree bubled over again last night. The patient Irish Lass has simply lost any sympathy for the 'desperate to please Sree', the housemates are caught between trying to forgive Sree's naivety and understanding the patience that Noirin has had to exert. This is surely a key issue regarding the nominations tonight and will probably prove that Sree does not have to walk as he has threatened but he will be pushed. See Latest Betting Odds
Tudor Task Siavash the most 'blue bloodied' of housemates went to the diary room accepted his role as Henry V111, choosing Angel, Freddie, Karly, Rodrigo, Sophie and Sree as his six wives.Kris and Charlie are to dance for his majesty, Noirin and Lisa will cook a Hog's head and Marcus has the role of village idiot and must entertain the king on his birthday tomorrow. Watch out for Marcus's patience to give way ! See Latest Betting Odds
Angel into S& M - In a chat with her follow contestants Angel revealed that Sado masochism was her thing which was not a surprise to the group. Having watched her massage Sree it was amazing that he hadn't broken several bones in his back. Many have remarked that the Indian needs a back bone , perhaps when dealing with Angel this is no bad thing.
Pool party - to celebrate Halfwit's party the housemates got saucy. Freddie is unlikely to forget his 24th birthday party, cavorting with Noirin Siavash and Angel in the pool. The hilarity was brought to a close as BB reminded in mates they were making too much noise for a residential area.!
Halfwit celebrates birthday in the house- After last night's victory Halfwit celebrates his success. Sree continues to annoy and dig himself a hole with the ever tolerant Noirin. Think he is likely to be plucked from the house this week. Marcus may continue to annoy the public but housemates see him as 'sound'.
Cairon Evicted- Cairon was third person to be evicted from BB 10 . Making the bookies correct in their assessment of the popularity of Halfwit amongst the public.
Unbelievably Halfwit takes pole position- Halfwit whilst up for his second eviction on Friday night has ousted Rodrigo as the favorite to win the show! Everyone in the show was shocked to see Cairon nominated. The inmates need to wise up.
Cat amongst the pigeons- Looks like a new housemate could be introduced next week to boost numbers after Saffia walked.
Cairon and Freddie up for 2nd Eviction- Poor old Freddie up for second time, but think he will be more popular with voters than in the house!
Noirin's Glasses and Moustache Go - Finally BB has allowed Noirin to abandon the moustache and glasses that she has had to draw on her face since Day 1. Some urgency may have been brought to this decision since it was the spike for a huge row in the house. Alienating Marcus and Lisa from each other. As temperatures flared housemates loose more of their control and show their under bellies. These dynamics will surely effect nominations this week!
Angel, Noirin & Siavash shorten significantly in bookies odds- As things settle down in the house the runners and riders are changing position. The 'decency' of Angel, the common sense of Noirin and Siavash's attempts at peace maker are paying off, knocking Cairon out of the first five.
Sophia is evicted - Saffia's arch rival Sophia was evicted from the house. Leaving Halfwit to entertain us for a bit longer. Lucky Britain!
Saffia walks!!!!! - The 15 housemates are now 14 as Saffia decides to leave the house after less than a week. Eviction on Friday will still go ahead with Halfwit and Sophia in the frame.
DAY 8 Sree the Vulnerable Takes Another Hit - As if poor Sree isn't finding the BB house overwhelming enough! Last night he was accidentally hit by a rope that Charlie was messing about with and ended up receiving medical treatment for a cut to his eye in the diary room. See Sree's chances on Big Brother Odds
See how betting odds shape up after first nominations- Housemates jostle for position as the first nominations are revealed. Whose popularity is increasing and whose star is fading? Kris, Angel and Rodrigos receive no nominations. Check out our Betting odds page Big Brother Odds
Sophia and Halfwit up for eviction this week- First two nominees for the first eviction of BB10. See Nominations Page
Lisa wins 'most patient' challenge- Lisa showed her strength in being able to sit in the garden for more than two and a half hours on her own. Shows her grit and contemplative nature. Mind you a bit of peace and quiet away from the others must have had its enjoyable side!
Housemates Settle In -Now that the excitement of the 'non housemate'launch has died down the housemates are easing into their new surroundings. Bonds are forming and antagonists becoming a little clearer. An unlikely bond between Cairon and Siavash might find the former losing favour amongst the public although at the moment it has shortened Siavash's odds. Sophia's opinions are also becoming a little too grating and discordant. Sexual debate is forefront. Watch out for the peacocks to start preening in front of the cameras and how this will affect the odds. Big Brother Odds
No Donations To Charity this Year - Big Brother has confirmed that there will be no donations to charity from money raised on their phone votes. Channel 4 is clearly feeling the squeeze from the credit crunch. Perhaps restoring their 'Live Feed' from the house might improve viewing figures and increase revenue !
Live Feed Uproar- This year Big Brother has no live feed of the programme during the day which is causing enormous anger amongst die hard fans. The only live coverage from the house is between midnight and 6 am. Fans say it prevents them from making up their own minds about the housemates and means they are subject to Endemol's spin on each character through the editing process.
Beinazzir is Evicted - Last night Beinazzir won the public vote to be evicted from the house, maintaining the form for a woman to be the first evictee. A man has never left the house first
DAY 4 Live Eviction Tonight at 10 PM - One of the housemates will leave tonight in BB's live show. Who will it be ? See nominations page
More of House Revealed - Day 4, brings a further unveiling of the house. As expected there is a bathroom, a kitchen, bedrooms and an extensive sofa area. With its usual contemporary styling the bright colours and soft curves feel more comforting on the eye than past incarnations. Perhaps the commando launch is to be replaced with a feel good factor to brighten up our credit crunch summer. Lets hope so!
