Big Brother Nominations
The Big Brother nomination process varies from year to year but the main format is that each week all the housemates get to nominate the two people that they would most like to leave the house, giving valid reasons for their choices. The results are then totalled up and the two contestants with the most votes, ie the least popular amongst their inmates, are then put up for the public vote. The contestant with the highest number of public votes is then evicted from the Big Brother House.
The makers of Big Brother have thought of virtually every money making way to get members of the public to cast their votes on the weekly eviction. The main choice is by phone with each of the Big Brother Contestents having a set phone number throughout the series to avoid confusion and perpetuate loyalty. You can also text in your votes via your mobile telephone or simply press the red button on your Sky/Virgin/Freeview remote control
